Craig Berky, a self-described basement inventor, co-founded Interplex Medical LLC in 2004 along with Matthew Otten. After experiencing slow, but steady growth through the recession, the design engineer and manufacturer of medical devices has teamed up with Cleveland-area firm CerviLenz Inc. to introduce CerviLenz, a product designed to save lives and millions of dollars by reducing the risk of premature birth.
