Interplex Soprec Acquires Assets of IMTEC Stamping
Besançon, France – July 20, 2009. Interplex Soprec, SAS, a custom metal stamping and insert molding company and a division of Interplex Industries, Inc., announced today that it has acquired the assets of IMTEC Besançon, a France-based custom precision metal stamping company.
IMTEC Besançon specializes in precision stamped and drawn metal components, utilizing stamping presses ranging from 30 to 200 tons in size. The company provides its services to the automotive, aerospace and construction industries.

The acquisition also allows Interplex Soprec to further diversify our customer base and the markets we support”
Interplex Soprec will integrate IMTEC Besançon’s employees and equipment into its current manufacturing facility located in Dannemarie sur Crete close to Besançon. The integration is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2009 in order to increase operational efficiency.
